Event Details

Polyvagal theory has profoundly changed our healing ability by offering insight into the inner workings of our bodies and nervous systems. Backed by decades of scientific research, it offers the roadmap that can help us manage the stresses and burnout we experience working in the mental health field.

This workshop is an introduction to Polyvagal theory where you will begin to observe your own autonomic nervous system and start thinking about ways to resource and regulate. As professionals, feeling depleted impacts our ability to be curious and feel successful in our work. Understanding where we are in our nervous system gives us choice in how we move forward.

At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Apply the organizing principles of Polyvagal Theory.
  2. Create their own autonomic map.
  3. Begin to work with their own autonomic nervous system and help it regulate.

This program is appropriate for clinicians at all levels of experience and offers 3.0 CEs.
